Toronto INL Convention - Icelandic National League of North America - 91st Annual Convention
Icelanders: Then and Now - April 22 to April 25, 2010 - Participate in a convention with Icelanders, and others of Icelandic descent from all over Canada and the United States at Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Check it out before it is too late at: http://icct.info/
Annual Icelandic picnic - June 19, 2010. Come out and enjoy outdoor games followed by dinner and the crowning of the new Alberta Fjalkona at Markerville, Alberta. ICCE will be providing a bus from Edmonton to Markerville for seniors, so call Susan Hallett at 780-471-0082 to register for the bus. Bag lunch is provided on the way to Markerville.
Heritage Days Festival - Edmonton - July 31, August 1 & 2, 2010. Please come out and help, meet new Icelanders, and other representatives of the Scandinavian countries, learn to prepare some of the traditional foods.
Our next Casino dates are August 15 & 16, 2010 - If you are able to volunteer during that time period, and haven't yet been contacted, please don't hesitate to call our casino chairperson - Don Sigvaldason @ 780-460-5934 - and let him know that you are available.
Leifur Eiriksson Days Celebration September 25 & 26, 2010 at the Dutch Canadian Centre and Home of the Scandinavians (Main Hall and Nordic Room) - 5:00pm to 9:30pm Saturday & 1:pm to 4:00pm Sunday.
Family Christmas Party - December 19, 2010 at the Dutch Canadian Centre and Home of the Scandinavians (Main Hall) - 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
